OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:

To continue creating category defining products, this high-impact role of SEO Manager is crucial to the business as the centre point for all our content related activities. Working directly with the Head of Digital, you will be responsible for all aspects of SEO performance at a very exciting stage of our company, as we scale the business rapidly. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build, own and deliver the SEO strategy for the Company.

  • Plan, prioritise and implement SEO strategies to hit business KPIs.

  • Identify keyword trends and opportunities through regular keyword research and generating new keyword ideas.

  • Prepare and implement a content plan.

  • Develop content briefs.

  • Managing content writer/s.

  • Proofreading and editing content to ensure it’s on-brand, SEO elements are correct, facts are correct and inline with brand.

  • Monitoring website traffic, search results, and developing strategies.

  • Re-optimizing and updating outdated content.

  • Developing link-building strategies.

  • Make technical recommendations to developers.

  • Analyzing search terms, rankings and analytics to monitor performance and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Analyzes current SEO of the website, including site structure, page structure, and internal linking structure and making recommendations for improvements. 

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Keeping up to date with new trends and best SEO practices.

SKILL / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years' experience and proven results across all aspects of SEO (technical, link building, content optimisation).

  • Previous expertise working with US premium brands with highly competitive keywords required.

  • Native or Fluent English written and verbal skills.

  • Understanding of customer journeys and retention, acquisition and engagement.

  • Strong analytical skills to track, report and analyse changes in SEO performance.

  • Expert user of Google Analytics, Google Search Console and 3rd party SEO tools. 

  • Experience with Shopify stores.

  • Previous experience in a similar role.

  • High level of attention to detail and a problem-solving approach to challenges.

  • Highly organised, able to prioritise, understand deadlines, and respond to work with urgency.

  • Deeply analytical and highly proficient at Excel and other MS Office products.

  • Working hours 10:00 – 19:00 UK time (flexible).
